The Training Centre in Communication and ITOCA hosted a partnership launch webinar on 30th April to showcase the research capacity initiatives they have conducted in higher education. For 25 years, ITOCA has led the way in building librarian capacity for scholarly infrastructure. The webinar highlighted libraries' pivotal role in supporting their communities through capacity-building initiatives. With the field constantly evolving, librarians play a crucial role in helping researchers adopt open practices.
Over the past 18 years, TCC Africa has forged partnerships with universities, primarily the University of Nairobi. Dedicated to promoting African science locally and globally, TCC Africa enhances technical communication proficiency across academia in Africa.

Information Training & Outreach Centre for Africa(ITOCA) is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) with its headquarters in Centurion, South Africa. ITOCA provides capacity development programs in Information Communication & Technology (ICT), research & development, project management, monitoring & evaluation (M & E), and knowledge management & exchange projects.
The Training Centre in Communication(TCC Africa), is the first African-based training centre to teach effective communication skills to scientists. TCC Africa is an award-winning Trust, established as a non-profit entity in 2006 and is registered in Kenya. TCC Africa provides capacity support in improving researchers’ output and visibility through training in scholarly and science communication.
Association of African Universities (AAU), is a prestigious network that provides a continental platform for its member universities to meet, network, share knowledge, share experiences, broker partnerships and collaborate with each other in a diversity of areas related to their areas of specialization, research interests, teaching and learning. The AAU is unique in that its scope covers the diverse areas represented by both research and or teaching universities/institutions.
African Library and Information Associations and Institutions(AfLIA), is an independent international not-for-profit organization which pursues the interests of library and information associations, library and information services, librarians and information workers and the communities they serve in Africa. It was established in 2013 and registered as an international non-governmental organisation (NGO) under the laws of Ghana in October 2014.
Research for Life, Research4Life provides institutions in low-and middle-income countries with online access to academic and professional peer-reviewed content. We aim to improve teaching, research and policymaking in health, agriculture, the environment and other life, physical and social sciences.
