On August 26th- 27th 2024, TCC Africa’s trainer, Nicholas Outa, led an impactful training session on Scholarly Communication, focusing on Academic & Research Proposal Writing and Open Science. The training, organized by the Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa), covered several topics.
On Day 1, participants were guided through the essentials of research proposal writing. The session covered key aspects, including selecting a research topic, planning and structuring the proposal, and utilizing effective reference management tools. Additionally, the workshop delved into scientific writing and the publishing process, providing a comprehensive foundation for participants to develop and present their research proposals effectively.
