The University of Ewastini collaborated with the Training Centre in Communication to spearhead a workshop for the Eswatini Academic Community on using Open Access AI to improve their research lifecycle.

Wilson de Souza from Knowledge Unlatched introduced the Open Research Library, as a user-friendly platform that enhances the discovery of worldwide open-access publications covering different disciplines.

Nicholas Outa, from TCC Africa, led a demonstration on how to access and utilize the citation database, Dimensions, in exploring research grants, publications, citations, clinical trials, patents, and policy documents in one place. He also introduced the community to Scholarly, an AI online summarization tool that can quickly identify the key points and arguments of research papers as well as more easily critically analyze papers to understand how the research builds on or differs from prior studies and effectively interpret large collections of articles.

The Training Centre in Communication(TCC Africa), is the first African-based training centre to teach effective communication skills to scientists.
